History

Queens Park Rangers had finished fifth in the inaugural Premier League season of 1992/93, the highest-placed London club that year, and 1993/94 was their second campaign in the new competition. Gerry Francis managed the side at Loftus Road, with Les Ferdinand leading the line before his move to Newcastle United, in one of the strongest spells in the club's modern history.
