History

The 1998/99 Parma squad contained Gianluigi Buffon, Lilian Thuram, Fabio Cannavaro, Juan Sebastian Verón and Crespo, and it won both the UEFA Cup and the Coppa Italia. Crespo scored in the UEFA Cup final as Parma beat Marseille 3-0 in Moscow. The club finished fourth in Serie A the same season.
