History

Paraná Clube are based in Curitiba, in the state of Paraná, and were formed in 1989 through the merger of two existing clubs. The side played in Brazil's Série A across several seasons in the 1990s and 2000s, and has since competed in the lower national divisions alongside the Campeonato Paranaense, the state championship.
