History

Tomasz Sokolowski signed for Viking ahead of the 2009 season after five years at Lyn in Oslo. Born in Szczecin and the son of Polish international Kazimierz Sokołowski, he grew up in Norway and was capped by Norway in 2006. He made more than forty appearances for Viking before joining Brann in 2011. The shirt comes from the years when Viking were settling into their Stavanger home ground, a club that has since gone on to win the Norwegian Cup in 2019 and the league title in 2025.
