Adidas Mexico Away 2022 H.Lozano 22 - 10/10

Mexico's white change shirt from the Qatar World Cup, brand new with tags. Adidas went clean and pale here, letting the green and red trim and the eagle crest do the work, a deliberate contrast to the loud green home shirt from the same cycle. Number 22 is Hirving Lozano, the Napoli winger who was Mexico's most recognisable attacking name of that generation. Nameset applied by us.

History

Qatar 2022 ended Mexico's long run of reaching the knockout stage, a streak that had held at seven consecutive tournaments. They drew with Poland, lost to Argentina, then beat Saudi Arabia 2-1 in the final group game but went out on goal difference. Lozano started all three matches. It was a bruising exit for a football country used to expecting more, and shirts from the campaign carry that weight.
