History

Jadon Sancho was one of the most talked-about signings of summer 2021. He grew up in London, came through Manchester City's academy, and left for Borussia Dortmund at 17, where he became one of the most productive young attackers in the Bundesliga. United paid around £73 million to bring him back to England, and he took the number 25. His first goal for the club came in the Champions League away at Villarreal in November 2021, a 2-0 win that sent United through to the knockout rounds. He later returned to Dortmund on loan and reached the 2024 Champions League final with them.
