At TheFootballIdiots, football culture is about more than just shirts. It’s about stories, creativity, nostalgia, and the people who turn the game into art. That’s why our Oslo store on Grünerløkka also showcases a growing selection of football-inspired artwork and unique collector items from talented local creators.
From illustrated playing cards to football portraits and club-inspired artwork, the shop has become a small hub where football and creativity meet.
Halvor Mjaugedal – Football Legends in Art Form
One of the creators featured in the store is Halvor Mjaugedal, a Norwegian illustrator and author known for several football-related books and the popular Football Legends Playing Cards.
This hand-illustrated deck celebrates some of the greatest players in football history, from legends like Maradona and Zidane to modern icons. Each card is drawn with personality and humor, turning football history into collectible artwork.
Visitors to the Oslo store can find the card deck available – and during special events Halvor even draws live and signs decks, making them a unique collectible for football fans.
Made by Lorentz – Football Through a Street Art Lens
We’re also proud to showcase work from Lorentz, a local artist behind the brand Made by Lorentz. His work blends football culture with graphic illustration and street-inspired design.
Lorentz is especially known for his Arsenal-related artwork, but his portfolio also includes designs inspired by many other clubs and iconic moments from football history.
His pieces combine supporter culture, design, and nostalgia, making them a perfect fit for collectors and fans looking for something different than traditional football merchandise.

Eirik Grøner – Portraits of Norwegian Football
Another artist represented in the Oslo shop is Eirik Grøner, who recently exhibited work at the Football Gallery.
Eirik is particularly known for his portrait artwork of Norwegian football players, capturing both historic and modern figures from the national football scene. His style brings personality and emotion into football imagery, giving fans a new way to experience the sport through art.
Selected works from Eirik’s collection are now available in the store.

A New Side of Football Culture
Our goal with the Oslo store has always been to create more than just a retail space. By collaborating with artists like Halvor, Lorentz, and Eirik, we’re building a place where football culture, creativity, and collecting come together.
Whether you’re looking for a vintage shirt, a collectible card deck, or a unique piece of football artwork, there’s always something new to discover.
If you’re in Oslo, stop by the shop and explore this creative side of the beautiful game.
